Service questions
What is the difference between a sealer and an epoxy coating?
A sealer soaks into the concrete and gives light protection against dust and stains. An epoxy coating is a thicker layer on top of the slab that resists wear, oil and chemicals, and can add colour or flake.
Which finish is most popular for garages?
Flake. It hides dust and tyre marks, adds some texture, and comes in a wide range of colour blends.
Do I need grinding as well as a coating?
For an epoxy floor, yes in almost every case. Preparation is normally part of the coating quote, and your installer should explain what it includes.
Can I ask for a quote if I’m not sure what I need?
Yes. Describe the floor and how you use it, add a few photos, and you’ll get options recommended with your quote.
